The Kamuno SME loan is digital financing for Swiss SMEs. You receive a flexible credit line from CHF 10,000 to CHF 250,000 and draw funds when you need them – for example for investment, liquidity or growth. The request and assessment take place online.
Kamuno is aimed at Swiss SMEs from all sectors. Your company should meet the following requirements:
- Swiss company
- In business for at least 2 years
- Annual turnover of at least CHF 100,000
- Legal form: sole proprietorship, GmbH or AG
Whether a credit line is possible, and for what amount, is decided in Kamuno’s credit assessment.
A Kamuno credit line ranges from CHF 10,000 to CHF 250,000. The amount you are approved for depends on your company and the outcome of the credit assessment.
The Kamuno SME loan is a flexible credit line, not a single payout of a fixed amount. This is how it works:
- After a positive assessment, you receive an approved credit limit.
- Within this limit, you draw funds when you need them, in line with the terms of your contract.
- You repay the amounts you draw in monthly instalments over the agreed term of 12 to 48 months.
- You only pay interest on the amount you have drawn.
No. Your first withdrawal must be at least 50% of your approved credit line. You can draw the remaining amount later through your customer portal, whenever you need it. Each further withdrawal is reviewed in line with the terms of your credit line.
No. Interest is only charged on the amount you have actually drawn. The unused part of your credit line does not generate any interest.
Example: with a credit line of CHF 100,000 and a withdrawal of CHF 50,000, you only pay interest on CHF 50,000.
The interest rate is risk-based and ranges from 3.5% to 11% p.a. Your final rate depends on the individual assessment of your company and the term you choose. It is shown in your offer before you sign.
In addition to interest, a one-time upfront fee applies to each withdrawal. You can find the fee structure here: fee structure
The process is digital and usually quick:
- Initial estimate: immediately, after a few details about your company
- Completing the request: around 15 minutes
- Credit decision: usually within a few working days once your documents are complete
The exact timing depends on your company and on how complete your documents are.
Kamuno’s flexible credit line can be used for many business needs, for example:
- Machinery or equipment
- Inventory or pre-financing larger orders
- Growth, such as new locations or markets
- Staff, such as additional employees
- Short-term liquidity needs
- Bridge financing, for example until outstanding payments arrive
These are just examples. With Kamuno’s flexible credit line, you decide where the funds can make the biggest difference for your business. You simply indicate the intended use when you apply.
A UBO is the person who ultimately owns or controls a company (usually holding 25% or more of shares or voting rights). Identifying UBOs is required for regulatory and anti-money laundering purposes.
For Swiss stock corporations, we must verify shareholders and beneficial owners. A valid shareholder register helps confirm ownership structure and compliance. In the case of multi-tier ownership structures or group affiliations, the underlying natural persons must be disclosed and evidenced by appropriate documentation (e.g., the shareholder register of the parent company).
- Name or company name of each shareholder
- Address or registered seat
- Number and class of shares held
- Date of acquisition of the shares
- Date of entry in the shareholder register

Shareholder register
To create a shareholder register relatively easily, the following website can be used, for example: das-aktienregister.ch/instant/app/
For multi-tier ownership structures or group affiliations, shareholder registers must be provided for all legal entities, or other documents proving the ownership structure in another way must be available.
We require bank statements of the last three months to verify your financial situation, assess affordability, and comply with regulatory requirements in anti-money laundering. All documents are handled confidentially.
We require the last 2 years of financial statements to evaluate your company's ability to repay the loan and determine your credit limit. The more recent the documents are, the more precise the calculation will be. All documents are handled confidentially.
Depending on the outcome of the credit assessment, if the company itself is financially not strong enough, a guarantor may be required to secure the loan.
A guarantor is jointly responsible for the loan. If payments are not made, we may request the full outstanding amount from either the borrower or the guarantor.
An upfront fee is charged once and is applied to each withdrawal. It depends on the amount of the respective loan withdrawal and is deducted directly from the disbursed amount. It includes account opening, identification, and disbursement fees.
The upfront fee is calculated as a percentage of the loan withdrawal amount.
You can find the exact fee structure here: fee structure
The exact fee amount applicable to your credit line is displayed during the onboarding process as well as on your offer.
The applicable fee model depends on when your application was submitted. For applications submitted from 11 March 2026 onwards, the upfront fee is charged at the start of the contract. For applications submitted before this date, the contract remains under the all-in-one fee model, where fees are included in the monthly payments. In this case, the monthly invoice covers amortisation, interest, and fees. The fee is included monthly together with your invoice.
A notification is sent to you once the approval for your request has been granted and it is followed by an invitation from Swisscom to sign the documents digitally.
Digitally with the Swisscom Sign process, which is a quick and safe FINMA-approved solution for qualified electronic signature. As an alternative, the contract can be signed in a traditional way, which is applied only in exceptional cases as it takes more time and requires additional effort by the customer.
The process includes two steps: identification and signing. First, your identity is verified by comparing your ID document with a short face scan. Then, you review the contract and confirm your signature by clicking the signing button (no handwritten signature is required).
The signatories you provided during the application process will be reviewed and must be authorized to sign for the company. If a single person has sole signing authority, only that person needs to sign. Where joint signing is required, we support up to two signatories.
For Swiss nationals, a Swiss ID or Swiss passport is accepted. For non-Swiss nationals, a foreign passport together with a Swiss permit in credit card form are always required for identification. The following documents are not accepted for identification:
- Paper form of Swiss permit
- Swiss driver's license
Here are a couple of points you shall check if you are experiencing signing issues in the online process with Swisscom:
- Update the software of your phone
- Delete and reinstall the Swisscom Sign application. Do not log in.
- Ensure that you have only downloaded the app and have not completed a separate registration (registration must be done through the invitation link)
- Open the invitation from Swisscom on your computer and continue the process on your phone
- Clean the surface of the ID document which you are trying to scan
- If reading the chip of the identification document, lay it flat on the desk
- Remove any glasses, hats or hair in your face
If none of the above helps, get in contact with us for further support.
Invoices
Invoices are issued monthly, usually within the first 10 days of each month.
Invoices are available in the customer portal. You will receive an email notification once they are uploaded.
Note: Invoices are NOT dispatched by post or email.
Your regular payment amount is shown in the comment section of your invoice. Always refer to your latest invoice, as amounts may change.
Note: This amount may vary if changes occur, for example if you request an additional payout.
Please wait until you receive your first invoice before setting up a standing order, as it includes your unique reference number. The first invoice may include interest for a partial period, so the amount may differ from your regular monthly payment (shown in the comment section of the invoice).
Payments
Please use the specific payment details shown on your invoice when making a payment. The account from which you received the loan is different from the repayment account, so please do not use it.
Regulatory note: Payments must be made from the same bank account (IBAN) you provided during your application. Payments from third-party accounts are not accepted. If your IBAN changes, please inform us at info@kamuno.ch, including the reason for the change, and provide a confirmation from your bank.
Payments are due on the 28th of each month. Please refer to your latest invoice for the exact amount and payment details.
Yes, you can pay multiple instalments at once. Please note that this will not shorten the overall loan term.
In case your monthly payment is not received by the due date, a reminder fee of CHF 30 per reminder may apply. If the delay continues, additional measures such as late interest, legal action or contract cancellation may follow in accordance with the agreement.
Repayment
Early repayment is possible earliest 3 months after the contract conclusion and subject to a fee (please consult our fee structure). Upon confirmation, a repayment invoice incl. the fee will be issued.
To access the remaining amount from your credit line, log in to your portal and request a new withdrawal. If you need assistance, please contact us at info@kamuno.ch.
Note: Please ensure that no invoices are outstanding at the time of the request. Your request will then be reviewed in accordance with the terms of your credit line.
If you would like to request an increase of your credit line, please contact us by phone or send an email to info@kamuno.ch. Additional documents will be requested as part of the evaluation.
If your company address, name or legal form changes, please inform us as soon as possible and send the updated information by email. Depending on the case, we request an updated commercial register extract to verify the change. Please send the updated information and supporting documents to info@kamuno.ch.
If there is a change in the authorised signatories of your company, please notify us by email as soon as possible. We request identification documents and an updated commercial register extract to verify the new signatory. Please send the updated information and supporting documents to info@kamuno.ch.
If there are changes to the ownership of your company, please inform us by email and provide an updated shareholder register or excerpt of the commercial register. Please send the updated information and supporting documents to info@kamuno.ch.
